Job Description
Hollstadt’s Content Marketer helps in driving growth of the business’s primary content databases by providing audiences with constant, helpful, and interesting content that is in-tune with their interests and needs. They will actively participate in overseeing content creation for various distribution approaches, inclusive of social media, websites, case studies, blogs, events, videos, email campaigns, and presentations.
The Content Marketer also plays an active role in SEO and all tools used to market and sell the business ensuring that the content relates with the target audience and that the content finds the relevant audiences. This individual will help to develop the content for and execute a variety of marketing projects and initiatives, as well as curate learning programs that positively enhance Hollstadt’s consultant base. The Content Marketer reports to the VP of Marketing and Digital Strategy and works with Hollstadt internal office staff to perform a variety of duties involving content development and campaigns. Key Objectives Social Media – Helps to develop and manage social media content with specific focus on maximizing Hollstadt’s investment and brand reach on LinkedIn Marketing Content – Assists in the development of marketing content including presentations, blog posts, whitepapers and marketing campaigns Website – General oversight and content management of all website pages Email – Responsible for writing and designing email communication Consultant Learning & Development – Partners with the VP of Marketing + Digital Strategy on the development of the yearly training event schedule, coordination of speakers, event/webinar production and promotion
Responsibilities Brand Awareness and Content Development (75%) - Promote Hollstadt’s brand message through oversight of the content calendar including social media, content marketing, and promotional activities
- Creation and management of marketing related materials: sell sheets, presentations, graphics and video with oversight from manager
- Post and maintain website content: blogs, content calendar, consultant resources, event calendar with close focus on SEO
- Management and oversight of the social media channels by developing, scheduling and posting content
- Responsible for email marketing campaign creation, execution and metrics for all externally facing communication
- Monitors and documents online ratings and testimonials for use in future marketing campaigns
- Assists in the management of RFP responses for future business opportunities
Consultant Learning & Development (25%) - Maintain and publish the training calendar and event reminders
- Responsible for the recording and editing of webinar training events using video editing software (ie. Adobe Premiere Pro)
- Manage and track training RSVP’s, attendance and coordinate food/beverage for in-person events
- Evaluate and recommend tools to help improve training delivery
- Manage Training/Development speakers and outside resources
- Oversight of the selection and maintenance of an E-learning tool
Qualifications - Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
- 3-6 years related experience in a marketing or content management role
- Exceptional writing skills with an ability to craft and develop a specific “voice of Hollstadt”
- A natural curiosity paired with the ability to research and dig for difficult or technical information
- Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal departments and external consultants
- Microsoft Suite proficiency
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to interact in a professional manner and represent Hollstadt in a positive fashion
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong organizational, process, time management and prioritization skills
- Must be a self‐motivated and well-focused
- Drives results with little oversight
- Candidate must exhibit creativity and have the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Must be willing to be available for after-hours work for occasional trainings, events or special requirements
Preferred - Previous experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Experience with or willingness to learn the technical aspects of WordPress
