Job Description

Client is looking for a Security Analyst.


Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience with networking, system administration or some other infrastructure and operations background
  • 3-5 years of experience in information security practices
  • Experience and technical knowledge of working through complex risk assessments including hardware, software and restricted data; and identifying the vulnerability gaps in solutions and practices and make recommendations for how to close the gaps
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion and detection and prevention systems and security information and even management solutions
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI and CCPA
  • Knowledge of information security principles and best practices, including vulnerability management, access controls, and incident response
  • Knowledge of NIST and CIS 18 controls
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively
  • Excellent communications skills with ability to translate complex technical terms to business and other teams

Preferred:

  • Experience in developing and implementing security policies and standards to protect the organization’s data and systems; experience with Microsoft security tools (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Identity, etc…)
