Job Description

Project Manager for Workday Cutover to Production and Hypercare Support

The Cutover and Hypercare Project Manager will work with the PMO, Project Teams, and institution cutover and support teams to determine the plan and execution of cutover and hypercare for the Workday move to production.

 

Obligations 

The Project Manager for Cutover and Hypercare Support will be responsible for:

·     Provide subject matter expertise in planning Workday cutover steps, leading cutover teams during execution of cutover, and leading communication to the PMO, Executive Stakeholders, and project teams during cutover.

·     Provide subject matter expertise in planning Hypercare Support post go-live on Workday. Work with the PMO to establish metrics and KPIs and report these out post go-live

·     Ensure tracking of issues and risks and help the PMO with escalations to the executive team.

 

Required Skills

Candidates submitted by respondents must have the following skills:

 

·       Four plus (4+) years of experience planning and managing ERP cutover, go live, and hypercare support

·       Must have experience with Workday implementations.

·       Experience planning and managing cutover from legacy ERPs onto Workday

·       Experience planning and managing hypercare support for new and complex Workday implementations

·       Ability to organize ideas; conceptualize problems; collect, analyze, categorize, and interpret relevant and irrelevant data using a variety of techniques and methodologies for resolving complex issues and providing written documentation.

·       Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders from the business and technical communities.

·       Experience with multiple levels of executive communication

·       Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure

·       Demonstrated competency in Microsoft applications, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience using Smartsheet

·       Higher Education experience

·       Government experience

·       Experience with complex ‘big bang’ move to production on Workday       

 

Desired Skills

The following skills are desired for candidates submitted by respondents:

                Three (3) years of experience working on projects/programs that involve multiple areas of technology (development, infrastructure, network, security)
